About AMCO

History

AMCO Europe BV was founded in 1997 as AMCO Distribution with a view to stock, sell and distribute rubber expansion joints of high quality in standard execution and handmade spool type for larger diameters.

In the previous years the founder had his training in the applications and calculations according the E.J.M.A. for stainless steel expansion joints as well as the inevitable knowledge of stress calculations concerning angular (hinge) and spherical angular (gimbal) constructions at a subsidiary of Flexider SpA.

1997

In this year AMCO Distribution was founded The main activity was stocking and selling quality rubber expansion joints.

1999

The business successfully expands and is relocated to the Kiotoweg 361 in Rotterdam. The product portfolio is expanded with quality standard- and non-standard stainless steel compensators.

2005

In line with the company’s expansion, the name is changed to AMCO Europe B.V.

2009

Flexider Italy has found us again and the circle is round. AMCO Europe is the representative for Flexider Italy for the Benelux.
